I spent an afternoon with my nephew making things from this kit and we had a fantastic time. Opening the box felt like being a mad scientist; there were so many little pots, powders, and glittery things to mix. The instructions were pictorial and quite easy to follow along with. We got stuck in, mixing the various 'potions' to create different batches of slime. It was a brilliantly messy and creative process. Some we made with glitter, others glowed in the dark. The textures were all different and oddly satisfying to play with. He was completely absorbed in the mixing and creating, and honestly, so was I. It’s a really engaging activity that gets kids away from screens. We made about five or six different pots of the stuff, all of which are now sealed up and ready for future play. It was just a really fun, hands-on way to spend a few hours, with a cool, gooey result at the end of it all.
